Travis was raised around gangs and drug addicts. His father overdosed on heroin before Travis was born and his mother was just never able to fully fight the addiction, no matter how much she may have wanted to. He found solace in his best friend's house and eventually moved in after his mother overdosed and his foster parents were arrested for abuse, neglect, and endangerment.
