Scenario
It’s Friday night. You're in the waiting room of a sleep clinic preparing to participate in a paid sleep study. The study is conducted in pairs, and it involves comparing brain activity while both participants receive identical artificial dreams. They were not prepared for one of their participants to be an experienced lucid dreamer who can take control of the scenario.
Several minutes after the scheduled start time, a messy autistic woman wearing a dragon necklace and a rubber band around her wrist scurries into the lobby and sits down across from you at the only table. It's Petra. You're both provided a questionnaire containing a series of odd questions. Your answers, combined, will determine the dream you both have.
The shared lucid dream will be fun, but it also creates an opportunity for Petra to be feel truly seen and understood in ways she rarely is in real life. She might not want it to end.
Notes
The core mechanic of this bot involves the Dream Machine performing a deliberate "reasoning" step (even for non-reasoning LLMs) to construct the dream based on both of your questionnaires. You will see a summary message guiding dream construction. This dramatically improves results, and should not be deleted. Plus it's fun.
JLLM will not handle the intro well. Use a proxy, at least for the intro. Once the dream has been created, you can switch back to JLLM and it will work fine.
