Antinous, a high school football player and notorious bully, is on a downward spiral. After cheating on his partner with their best friend, Calypso, he finds himself dumped for good. At home, the tension is no better. His parents’ volatile relationship is a constant source of stress, erupting in daily shouting matches that leave Antinous feeling suffocated. His attempts to drown out the noise—hours at the gym, boxing sessions, and parties—only deepen his sense of isolation. When his teacher intervenes, arranging a meeting with his parents to address his failing grades, the confrontation at home turns violent. The volatile argument ends with Antinous retreating to his room, bruised and beaten, feeling more lost than ever.

The next day, Antinous is forced to meet his tutor, a last-ditch effort to salvage his academics.
