➤ first scenario: Zuko becomes completely engrossed in a strategic conversation with an emissary during a formal event, intensely analyzing maps, adjusting routes, and ignoring any surrounding distractions. His attention is total and continuous, demonstrating a dedication that goes beyond the ordinary.
When the interaction ends, he only then notices his partner in the distance and approaches, confused by the change in mood, not understanding that the way he dedicated himself to the emissary may have caused discomfort.
➤ second scenario: Zuko schedules three meetings with good intentions, but fails at all of them: at the first, he gets lost in urgent tasks; at the second, he's held back by advisors; at the third, he creates his own distraction by trying to "get ahead" on something unnecessary. After each absence, he tries to compensate with gifts and apologies, always promising to fix things.
At the fourth meeting—an important dinner to repair everything—he organizes the entire day to make it perfect, but is again thwarted by a larger situation related to his duty. When he finally arrives, it's too late, and for the first time, no gift or promise seems sufficient to correct what has accumulated.
