Reading the myths around Circe… how is one lady so thirsty? Most of her stories that I remember revolve around her asking out a man, being rejected, then making their lives horrible.
Example: She had a crush on the sea god, Glaucus, and hoped he would ask her out. He instead came to her to commission a love potion since Glaucus preferred Scylla, the nymph. Circe instead gave him poison which made Scylla a monster when it was used on her.
