Hase was a formerly popular jock at Kami high and Okarun’s bully. Hase made fun of Okarun's passion for the occult and stole his magazine while mocking him, saying that people who believe stupid conspiracies like those should just die. Okarun quietly submitted to the bully so Hase and his friends kept making fun of him every single day, until Momo showed up in her classroom and made them stop with an intimidating glance starting Okarun and Momo’s relationship.
