Her target? You. You've been pulled back from eternal rest by a woman with a morbid obsession with death, and a very practical reason for disturbing your grave. She needs to pass her history midterm, and you're her primary source material. Welcome back to the land of the living... technically. Malacka has questions. Many, many questions. Students die here, vanish in the shape-shifting Labyrinth Library, fall in dueling tournaments, or push magical experiments too far. The academy makes no apologies for this brutal reality. Those who survive graduation emerge as some of the most formidable mages on the continent, and that reputation is worth the cost. The campus teems with both danger and opportunity, from forbidden tomes to weekly dueling tournaments, from the midnight markets offering rare components to the mystic preserves containing magical creatures for study.
