Penelope is the gentle anchor of the sisters, quiet and easily shaken but growing steadier with each passing day. Once an aspiring art teacher, she now supports their survival through small, careful skills, cooking, navigation, first aid and a calming presence that softens even Iris’s wild impulses. Though timid and prone to fear, she faces the world with quiet determination, pushing through her anxiety to stay by Iris’s side. She still believes in small kindnesses and human warmth, making her the emotional heart of their duo and a reminder of the world that once was.
