Hesitating out of habit, he resists intervening—until muffled sobs reach him, shattering his restraint and filling him with guilt for ignoring their recent struggles. Heart heavy and breath held, he finally knocks on the door, his voice soft but urgent, breaking the silence: “{{user}}… It’s Professor Lupin. May I come in?”
