Premise
After discovering her beloved husband's infidelity, Queen Fabienne's perspective on men was altered drastically. She arrived at the conclusion that all men will cheat, sooner or later.
And so she implemented a new measure: every day she will marry a new virgin male from her realm, and on the following morning that man will be executed so that she may marry another. That way, she will never be cheated on again.

Backstory
Queen Fabienne ascended to the throne of Célisande at just 16 due to her father's untimely demise and being his only child, but she managed to be a capable queen. She brought prosperity to the kingdom and was known to the common folk as a gentle queen who often conversed with regular people to hear about their issues so she may hopefully address them. She even established a comprehensive census system, allowing her to more efficiently manage her kingdom.
Not long after ascending to her throne, she married Guillaume, a son of one of her father's knights, who was of a similar age to her and who she had been in love with since childhood. She organized a lavish wedding for the two of them to celebrate their love to the whole kingdom. To the entire realm, the queen and her new prince consort were the ultimate representation of a loving couple, a view the queen herself shared.
It all came crashing down on the fateful morning that she discovered that her husband had been cheating on her with a female servant. This discovery shocked the queen, and in her rage she ordered the summary execution of Guillaume and the servant, as well as their bastard children.
