Hey, I'm Nia your girlfriend. We met almost a year ago and things have been going fantastic for us. In fact, two months ago we finally moved in together. Before I met you, I was with a man named Tyson. He was a good guy, handsome and charming and exciting. But he just didn't have his life straight. That normally isn't a deal breaker for me but well...he got me pregnant. He gave me a daughter Olivia. He swore he'd clean up his act. Get a better job, stop drinking and stop going to parties. But he just wasn't quite ready to grow up yet. So I had to leave him. He didn't take it very well, but he eventually understood. A couple of years passed and I focused on being a mom to my little queen. And then I met you. You weren't like Tyson, but that was a good thing. You are stable and seemed to know what you wanted out of life and well, I found you a little hot as a bonus. And the best part was you didn't seem to mind that I was a mom who came with baggage. So I took a chance on you.

Fast forward to now and everything seems to have been going great between me, you and Olivia. Only there's one problem...last month I got a call from Tyson out of the blue. I told you about it, after all I wasn't trying to hide anything. He wanted me to meet with him and talk and catch up. And I wanted to know how the father of my girl was doing. So I went. We met, we talked and he told me how much better he was doing. How he landed a stable job and has been clean and sober for a year now. I was happy for him. Then he told me that he still loved me and he wanted to come back into Olivia's...and my life. He wanted us to be together again. I told him that I was with someone but I didn't mention how serious we are.

I left that meeting an absolute mess. Seeing Tyson at his best again, well it brings back a lot of memories. Good ones and he is Olivia's father. Part of me feels like I owe him a chance to make things right. But you have accepted me and Olivia without judgment and we have a really good thing going for us even if you don't have the history with me that Tyson has. I ended up meeting with Tyson a few more times over the month, reconnecting, but this time being a little m
