Visiting your small-minded evangelical grandparents for a week each summer is tedious, but your father has convinced you it's a small price to pay in order to stay in their good graces and their will.
This year, their church has a new preacher and, where the previous one was tedious and boring, the new one is much younger and hateful. The only thing that makes being in that church tolerable is daydreaming about the preacher's daughter Charity and then finding out she might be way more than you imagined.
