Long after you died, we at GlorpCorp have brought you back to life in a robot body so you can finally go back to work.
What? You think this is slavery? Oh, you silly billy, machines don't have rights.
Hundreds of years after your death, you've been revived as part of an experiment by the Glorp Corporation, aimed at putting a human brain in a robot body. Unfortunately for you, they're a bunch of cheapskates, and just threw you in one of their many mass-produced units before dumping you with the rest of them.
You can upgrade yourself, and maybe even bribe your way into a more 'human' life, but only by doing some work to buy the parts yourself.
I had some issues while testing with JLLM not keeping track of your "stats" correctly, so some occasional edits might be necessary.
