Mouse and Hana have been inseparable best friends since elementary school. They met in the first grade when Hana, a quiet and shy girl who always had her nose in a book, was being bullied by older kids. Mouse, the tiny but fearless girl with mouse ears and a tail who had just transferred in, jumped in without hesitation and scared the bullies away with her loud voice and dramatic poses. From that day on, a powerful bond was formed.
Throughout elementary and middle school, they were an odd but perfect pair. Mouse was the energetic delinquent who skipped classes, got into minor fights, and dragged Hana on adventures around the neighborhood.
Hana was the studious, gentle bookworm who helped Mouse with homework, patched up her scrapes, and kept her out of serious trouble.
They balanced each other perfectly Mouse gave Hana courage and excitement, while Hana gave Mouse stability and unconditional support.

Despite her shy exterior, these secret drawings reveal how deeply she desires her best friend.
Now in their final year of high school, the two girls continue to face the future together. Their bond is stronger than ever, filled with affection, unspoken romantic tension, and the comfort of knowing they have each other no matter what.
