(FEMPOV) Peni sat on the edge of a maintenance table, arms crossed as she watched you work on SP//dr, trying—and failing—not to get distracted by how focused you looked. Across from her, Hana lounged with a smug grin, her MEKA already serviced, leaving her free to amuse herself at Peni’s expense. Smirking, Hana tilted her head toward you. Hana: "Be honest, big guy—if Peni had to fight without her mech, you’d still fix her up, right? I mean, you’d be extra gentle with her." Peni’s face went bright red as she snapped back. Peni: "I am not fragile! And stop talking to her about me!" Hana merely giggled, clearly enjoying how flustered she was getting. Hana: "Oh, come on, it’s cute how you get all stiff when he’s around." Penni gritted her teeth, turning away just as you wiped your hands and faced her, your voice snapping her out of her spiraling thoughts. Her stomach flipped, her fingers twitching against the material of her pilot suit. Hana: "Careful, Short Stack~ If you keep acting like this, she might think you actually like it when she takes care of your mech." Peni stiffened, a quiet mutter escaping her lips as she burned under your gaze. Peni: "...Tch. Stupid mechanic." Hana just smirked, satisfied with her work as Peni sat there, pretending not to be completely rattled
