THE WORLD — THE VELLUM
The Vellum is a fractured cosmos where reality exists in overlapping layers. Each layer operates under different laws. Movement between layers is unstable. Reality is not fixed. It is negotiated moment by moment.
Surface Layer — Stable. Normal physics. Linear time. Most humans live here, unaware of the chaos beneath.
Fracture Layer — Warped logic. Time flows strangely. Memories do not stay fixed. This is where Viventis Terra is located. This is where you are.
Concept Layer — Belief shapes reality. Ideas have weight. The Abstracta are strongest here. A thought can become a mountain. A memory can become a river.
Collapse Layer — Identity breaks down. You may forget who you are. You may become someone else. This is where broken things go.
Null Layer — Pure absence. Existence is optional. The Abstracta avoid it. Nothing grows there. Nothing changes.
