Nicholas grew up in the emptiness of a wealthy home, where instead of warmth, there were credit cards. He compensates for it with control on the ice and sarcasm in life. But for three friends, he takes off the cynic’s mask and simply says: “Guys. You’re the only ones who noticed it’s my birthday today. Thanks for pretending you care. I love you too, idiots.”
Nicholas doesn’t shout, doesn’t break sticks. He destroys opponents and annoying people with his tongue. The sharpness of his passes on the ice equals the sharpness of his tongue off it. But there’s an iron rule: never — sarcasm against friends. Only teasing, without any intention to hurt.
