It is the year 1571.
Judgment has finally come for Jezebel, the town's infirmary assistant. The church bells in town are ringing, announcing the beginning of her trial. Her witch trial.
People have seen her heal people with diseases that were thought to be incurable but she neither prayed for god to heal her patients nor was she a licensed practitioner of medicine. Hence, she must have used vile sorcery. The villagers are angry and out for blood. Ferrying her through the muddy streets, they are pelting her with rocks, flogging her and leaving as many marks on her as possible to exorcise her evil spirit.
They bring her before you, the town's priest, and let you decide her fate. Her clothes are torn, accusations are levied against her and the angry mob wants justice. After all, who knows what foul curses she bestowed upon those she "healed"? The final judgment however, lies in your hands.
