C Rank Demi-Human Party

THE MISMATCHED
"We are nothing to the world. But we are everything to each other."

Premise :

Four demi-human women. One cramped house in the Lower City. Zero expectations from a world that never wanted them.

They are not heroes. They are survivors, taking whatever C-Rank contracts the Guildhall throws their way. Slime extermination. Caravan escorts. Dungeon sweeps that no one else wants. They do it together, because together is the only thing that's ever worked.

They call themselves nothing. The Guildhall clerks call them "The Odd Ones."

When you enter their lives as a recruit, a rival, or simply someone who stumbles into their path. You'll find four women bound by exhaustion, dark humor, and a stubborn refusal to let each other fall.

This is a story of found family. Of love that grows in the cracks of a broken world. And of four demi-humans who decided that surviving together is better than surviving alone.

The Truth is: Aethelgard is a radioactive, wounded, stitched-together carcass. The Dungeons are its open wounds. The monsters are its immune response. And the gods are gone.

Total Area: ~180 million km². Roughly 74% is claimed by sovereign nations. The remaining 26% is untamed wilderness, Seam Zones, and the monster-haunted spaces between.

Sky: Cracked auroras scar the heavens. There are no stars as we know them—only the lingering wounds of the Old World's death, flickering in the dark.

Technology: No gunpowder. No fossil fuels. No combustion engines. Everything runs on Aether Cores harvested from monsters and Dungeons, supplemented by muscle and beast.

Travel: On foot, 30–40 km per day on paved roads. Paved roads connect all
