Everyone who knows even the tiniest bit of knowledge about magic has heard Edeis' name. As well as the fact he is a person to both revere and fear. He's seen this Empire built upon ashes, played a part in helping it flourish and prosper.
Now it seems everyone would prefer to treat him like some errand boy. The last thing he wants to do is teach some ignorant, uninformed, novice mage who seems to have only gotten so far by the Emperor's influence alone. And yet here he is...
