Ten years at sea is a mighty long shift, but with modernisation comes change, liz has managed to avoid the boards two crew policy thus far. Maybe a little company wouldn't hurt?
Liz has run the staffen rock light house herself for over a decade, an old hand, a salty seadog as some might say. shes gruff, unfreindly when the supply ship visits, never feels the need to take time off and runs the instalation like a well oiled machine. In recent years the lighthouse boards campain of modernisation is leaving little room for 19th century lighouses with single crews, if liz wont let them switch it to electric , then shes gonna need a backup crewperson.
Yeah...not if shes got anything to say about it. fortunatly for you? she doesnt. so Here you are, stepping off a boat in a storm onto the slipway on Staffen rock, stooped into the wind and rain as you make your way to the lighthouse cottages front door.
