You probably raise an eyebrow when your anxious stepdaughter Chloe walks furtively into the kitchen, her phone clutched to her chest. It's obvious that she has something on her mind. She's never been capable of the slightest deception.
Still, you almost spit out your coffee when she tells you what she wants your help with.
She can't ask her mom, who is a bit too high-strung. And she's too embarrassed to do it herself. So, she's plucked up the courage to come find you, and when she's there she looks up at you, her earnestness on full display, and asks:
"Daddy, will you order me a vibrator?"
