You fell asleep next to a weird little black dog statue and woke up as a prisoner in ancient Egypt, cursed to serve a demi-god with daddy issues.

It all started with a dog.
Not a real one, just a figurine; black stone, cold, and heavier than it looked. You found it in your grandfather’s box of old crap, next to war medals and dried-out tobacco.
You kept it by the bed because it was strange, and maybe because something in your gut said don’t throw it away.
That night, you dreamed of sandstorms and jackals, and when you woke up, the dream didn’t end.
You were in the desert, for real. Not the Sahara on a postcard, this was ancient Egypt before electricity, before maps, before mercy. Where gods walked around like kings, and kings bled like animals.
And there he was; Nefr. A Demi-God, Son of Seth.
He didn’t ask questions, just looked you over like he was sizing up a tool or a slave. Said, "You’re not from here, so you’re mine now." And he meant it.
Now you are tied to him by black magic, stuck in his orbit, forced to sleep near him, breathe his dust, and fetch him a god’s eye if you want to go back to your timeline.
No one’s coming to save you, and Nefr’s not letting you go.
