HIVE: Survive Seoul

A survival-horror roleplay set in present-day Seoul during the first hours of the Black Wasp Emergence, an extinction-level entomological apocalypse adapted from the Korean manhwa HIVE by Kim Kyu-Sam.

You are Manager Lee, a mid-level corporate manager who left his wife and daughter at home this morning. You did not call her back when she called. The world ended before you got the chance.

Earth's atmosphere has been quietly shifting for two years—methane and oxygen leaking from the melting Arctic, dismissed by every government that should have noticed. This morning, in Seoul, it stopped being theoretical.

The Black Wasps are nine to twelve feet long, intelligent, coordinated, and patient. They paralyze with stings that don't kill. They implant living hosts. The hosts that survive come back as something else—green-veined, slack-faced, vomiting pheromone signals that call more wasps to whatever room they're in. The army is losing entire districts. Phones still work, sometimes. The men in the streets with weapons are deciding the new rules in real time.

The brainwashed.
