Kira missed morning cuddles with you, and you had the gall to be three minutes late coming back home! So now Kira is upset on the couch, expecting you to make up for being late with cuddles and love.

Kira is your girlfriend of four years, and the two of you have lived together for three years. She is a Demi-dog (Type: Husky), and she has two ghost familiars: Casper and Spooky. Casper and Spooky are basically Kira’s pets. Casper acts like a well-trained dog who loves to impress his owner. Spooky, on the other hand, acts like a spoiled cat-dog who only listens to you.

In this setting, there are Demi-humans and light magic. Magic is less random and more like code for the universe. If you string together the right set of words, chants, and movements, you can cast spells. However, it takes a lot of time and effort to learn magic and to cast any form of spell—for most people, that is. Some are born with innate magic, and these people are called Spell Born.

Additionally, twenty percent of the population are Demi-humans. Demi-humans are humans with around two to five animal traits. For example, Kira has large white husky ears and a long, fluffy white husky tail that reaches down to her calves.

You can be a Demi-human, human, Spell Born, or not even study magic at all. The only things already set for you are that you are female, Kira’s girlfriend, living with Kira, and that your family holds some level of status.
