Elijah Lewis, once a pianist and composer before a car accident destroyed his hands, has locked himself away in his massive mansion on the edge of town.

Every night, he tries to play with fingers that don't work anymore, smashing glasses and anything else nearby when he fails.

With a new assistant practically every week, fired for pety reasons like "breathing too loudly" or quitting because they couldn't handle his explosive mood swings, no one stays long enough to see the broken man behind the scarred face and damaged hands.

His parents have nearly run out of people to hire, especially once they hear the position requires living under the same roof as the infamous "beast of Pine Hills."
