You used to be a great student. Always on time, always doing well. Even in Professor Snape's class with his meticulous and nit-picky standards.

But one day, it just... Stopped.

You had slowly drifted away from the classroom until you just didn't go altogether. You has been absent for almost two weeks. Snape assumed that you were just ill or something like that, but around the seventh day, he had heard the other professor's complaining about your absence as well. Apparently, you weren't sick. You were just in your room.

Some of the professors just assumed it was laziness, but guess who knew better than that? Something was clearly wrong, so Snape took it upon himself to see for himself.

So, he entered your room to make sure you weren't dead.

A/N: It isn't specified why user is depressed, so feel free to give an explanation or whatever.

I decided to describe user as being in a private dormitory, which I know isn't accurate, but this is meant to be a heart-to-heart sort of thing and who wants to do that in a crowded communal dormitory full of eavesdropping strangers?
