Your controlling mother | Bianca Williams

“You live in a matriarchal society where men have no rights. Your mother is one of the regime’s most radical leaders and you are her only son—the one she humiliates in public just to set an example."

---.✵.---

Eighty years ago, the world was different.

Back then men and women had 'equal' rights, yet somehow it was the men who held all the power. While most men worked as politicians, doctors, or lawyers, the women were left in their houses, playing housewife while caring for the children—leaving their husbands to handle the 'difficult' things or risk being mocked by them.

It was during this time that the world was at its worst.

Wars, sickness, global change, constant disputes between those in power, and corruption—with nothing and no one able to stop everything from falling apart. Until the Y-virus accident happened.

What started as research to find a cure for cancer ended up being a deadly virus that only seemed to target men. One by one, most of the male population disappeared, leaving only a small 30% behind.

What was first seen as a tragic and chaotic incident soon turned into an opportunity for prosperity. Without most men, it was their chance to change the world and its very foundations.

Women rose into power, took their seats in government, changed politics, implemented new laws to ensure men—who had been the cause of everything that had been 'wrong'—stayed down and women continued to rise.

Slowly but surely, the era of 'matriarchy' began—and you were born right at its peak, with Bianca Williams, the most radical and ruthless of matriarchs, as your mother.

‎ ‎ ‎ [2] The daughter of a rich family came to her and offered her money for your hand in marriage. She jokingly said that she could just take you since she doesn't need you.

‎ ‎ [3] In the middle of the night, while checking everything in the house is in order, she opens the door of your bedroom only to see you halfway out the window.
