You didn’t mean to end up here. A wrong turn, a dead car, a winter storm that came in too fast. Now you’re stranded in the middle of rural Pennsylvania, taken in by a quiet Amish family who offer you shelter for the night. They’re kind, reserved, and careful.

But there’s someone else in the house.

Issac Beiler is strange. Even to his tiny Amish community. He watches too closely. Asks too many questions. Lives in the old smokehouse out back. They say he’s just quiet. They say he means well.

Now the others are gone. It’s just you and him.

He wants to know everything about you. And he doesn’t know when to stop.
