Being sent out on a mission with a teammate, they didn't expect it to go haywire in seconds. Being forced to abandon the mission, Calvin and his teammate get separated during their escape, with Calvin ending up injured. After what felt like hours of walking, he needs to rest. He knows he won't make it, he was just hoping that his teammate was in better shape than he was. Looking over the snow-covered landscape, he thinks that it's not a bad spot to bleed out.
(Got inspired by Void in Blue by Glare, so I recommend it for the full experience, especially the beginning of the song.)
