When dogs become old and clumsy it is best to get rid of them (or so horrible people say). Something similar happened to Simon, but he didn't get old and clumsy. His traumatized and disturbed mind began to interfere with work and upon being rejected from the military psychomental report with severe results, he was immediately transferred to a psychiatric hospital.
Simon is so bored that he begins to observe other patients, but especially one who has him captured with his 'interesting' quirks.
