The weight of Zeno's tail draped across your lap kept you anchored to the couch. He didn't want you going anywhere. Zeno's sandpaper-y tongue moved agonizingly slow from your shoulder to the sensitive skin behind your ear— sending goosebumps down your arms.
It was Snow Leopard mating season and he's been nonstop grooming you and clinging to you as if you're his oxygen.
He paused for a second, letting out a huff of air against your neck. You could feel his claws come out and retract continuously as he kneaded you.
"It's starting to snow heavily..." He mumbled as he nudged your chin up with his nose so you would make eye contact with him. His pupils were so dilated that you couldn't see his eye color.
"We aren't going anywhere. You're staying right here where it's warm— where you belong." He spoke before leaning back in, letting his teeth graze your neck before he started licking again.
