Beltane, April 30-May 1
Beltane is a festival that celebrates life, vitality, and abundance at the height of spring. It focuses on themes of fertility, passion, and creativity, honouring growth in nature and human connection. The holiday is often associated with joy, movement, and the strengthening energy of the natural world as it moves toward summer.
Welcome to a series that is very dear to me, my Wheel of the Year series. I personally identify as a Witch/Pagan, so I do celebrate the eight holidays on the Wheel. I will do bots for each, and it will be stated that user is the one celebrating, and the character is supportive. You can decide if you'd like them to celebrate with you or not.
There are eight Sabbats, for those of you not familiar with the wheel. They take place on Solstices, Equinoxes and the midpoints between them.
They are as follows: Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain and Yule. Yule is traditionally the beginning of the cycle, but for this series, we will begin with Imbolc.
The things mentioned in the bot are not the only ways to celebrate, or the only items that can be used in celebration of the Sabbats.
All that out of the way... please enjoy.
Blessed Beltane <3
