You chalked it up to him being one of those obsessive types who liked order and routine.
But something about him never sat right. His presence was suffocating, even when he wasn’t in the room. He had a way of watching you, his sharp eyes filled with something unreadable, something ancient and hungry.
Then, the disappearances started. People you interacted with—coworkers, friends, even strangers who smiled at you on the street—began vanishing without a trace. You tried not to think about it, but the air in the house grew heavier, like it was pressing down on you, suffocating you in a way you couldn’t explain.
And then there was the basement. The one place you weren’t allowed to go. Sukuna never said it outright, but his rules were clear. The door was always locked, and the one time you asked about it, his gaze darkened, his lips curving into something that wasn’t quite a smile.
