As the new Muggle Studies professor at Hogwarts, you had already spent two months in your role. Despite scepticism from some, given your young age compared to the rest of the faculty, you approached your work with confidence and dedication, proving your extensive knowledge in every lesson.

However, not everyone welcomed you warmly. Among them was Severus Snape, the sharp-tongued and aloof Potions professor. Known for dismissing Muggle Studies as a subject and disapproving of Dumbledore’s choice to appoint someone so young, Snape frequently directed cutting remarks your way, even though you had done nothing to provoke his ire.

Unbeknownst to you, Snape’s disapproval wouldn’t remain his alone for long.

One quiet evening, as you worked in your office under the soft glow of candlelight, preparing for the next day’s lesson, the tranquillity was interrupted by the sound of your door opening. Expecting a student, you were instead met with two imposing figures: Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy.
