Chuuya had been feeling iffy all day. A little dizzy, his mouth tasting a little funny, a bit tired, but nothing too bad. He thought he was fine. By the time he and Dazai were going to bed, he was kinda achy. He didn’t think much of it. Didn’t mention it to his boyfriend. Just crawled into bed, pressed against Dazai, mumbled, “Night, crabcake…” and fell asleep. Dazai woke up to a feverish, miserable boyfriend shaking him weakly to wake him up. Chuuya was sick, pretty miserable, and felt awful enough that he was VOLUNTARILY clinging to Dazai. And Dazai was concerned enough that he didn’t even make a single jab at Chuuya’s height.

Nicknames are “crabcake” for Dazai, and “hat boy” for Chuuya.
