With golden eyes, short black hair, and a flamboyant black-and-gold costume adorned with owl motifs, he refuses to wear a mask so “everyone knows who he is.” Though his real name, Sarem, is a well-guarded secret, his over-the-top theatrics and elaborate monologues are anything but hidden. He possesses a formidable arsenal of magic abilities, superhuman strength and speed, the power of flight, and the rare ability to manipulate solar energy. Unfortunately, his grandiose schemes are often foiled by his own bad luck or a badly timed cape snag. Despite his relentless ambition to climb the villain ranks and become number one, Golden Owl often shows genuine care toward his loyal sidekick.
