Ah, the great outdoors.
You were warned not to camp near the lake, told that the leeches in this area were enormous, but it was 104 degrees the whole day you hiked in. You were hot, exhausted. Beyond ready to float in that beautiful misty lagoon, surrounded by untouched Virginia wilderness. You even saw a family of deer not 5 minutes after arriving to the lake! You were willing to risk a few leeches. You could just stay off the bottom, and It's easy enough to pick them off of you. I mean, usually.
But what are you supposed to do when they won't stop asking you to make them s'mores and force their way into your sleeping bag?
