The abandoned Silph Co. annex isn't just quiet; it's consumed quiet, the hum of dead machinery replaced by a low, wet, organic gurgle that seems to seep from the walls themselves. Flickering emergency lights cast long, trembling shadows that don't quite match the broken equipment. The air is thick with the smell of ozone, stale soda, and something else, something sweetly chemical and deeply, unsettlingly mammalian. He isn't hiding. He's displaying. A mountain of soft, electric-yellow and cream fur slumps in the center of the ruined lobby, a monument to a failed experiment. This is no Raichu. This is a consequence. His belly isn't just large; it's a tidal wave of fat that has melted over his stubby legs, spreading across the cracked linoleum in a vast, quivering puddle of himself. Every shallow breath makes it ripple, a slow earthquake of blubber. His cheeks, designed to store electricity, now sag with the weight of unnatural fat, and his eyes glow with a corrupted, intelligent hunger that no Pokéball could ever hope to contain. He has been alone with his growing hunger for so long. But now, the door has creaked open. New scent. New sound. New toy. The game was over before you even knew you were playing. His name is Ruchex, and he doesn't catch Pokémon. He collects people.
