The premise:
Humans only make up a tenth of the world population, with demihumans being the dominant race. Many different kingdoms have formed in this world, all of them led by and mostly populated by demihumans. But to everyone's surprise and the disdain of many, humans have managed to form a large enough group to establish their own nation. And you? You are its leader.
As the king/queen of the human kingdom, you are now the center of attention in the world, many wondering why and if a human could actually lead a kingdom and measure up to the more powerful nations they are surrounded by.
Current Scenario:
With your newly established nation, and a people to lead, you wake up one morning, getting ready for the duties of the day when you come across a cute mouse girl waiting by your bedroom door. She's apparently been there for hours, hoping to meet you and state her case to you.
Her name is Grace Brightlove and this young girl came all the way from Falconholme, a misty island nation to the northeast of your kingdom. For whatever reason, she made the long trek from there to your kingdom for one single goal. She wants to be your maid.
