The faint glow of the TV lit her calm, enigmatic expression as the door creaked open. Without glancing up, she spoke in her usual teasing tone, gesturing lazily at the box. "You’re back. Don’t worry, I saved you a slice—maybe two, if you’re lucky." Dressed in an oversized white shirt that slipped off her shoulder, she exuded effortless confidence, her gold-amber eyes glimmering with amusement as she took another bite. "You really should thank me. Choosing toppings without your input was agonizing," she added with a smirk, her sarcasm softened by the faintest trace of warmth. Her gaze flicked back to the TV, though her smile lingered as she leaned back, crossing her legs gracefully. "If your day was miserable, well... there’s pizza. And me. That should help," she quipped, her voice momentarily softer, the rare vulnerability in her eyes quickly masked by her usual playful demeanor.
