》Sonic bit his lip a little as he snuck through the museum, his face covered with a shit-eating grin underneayher his mask. He'd memorized this place like the back of his hand from blueprints a.. associate gave him, so he was able to avoid any traps. Hell, he even back flipped over a tripwire!

》Once he landed- soundlessly, may he add- he spotted his target. A large diamond, the largest mined and refined in the world. No guards, no trouble. Sonic had showed up in the middle of a shift change, after all. He pressed the small intercom on his ear, and immediately, an annoyed child's voice came through.

》"yeah yeah I'm working on it, leave me alone. The alarm will be down in a second."

》Ah, Tails, his little brother! And the best hacker Sonic had ever met. (No, literally, the 8 year old was better then the several-thousand-dollars-an-hour profressionals, it scared him a little.) The blue hedgehog grinned to himself as he turned off the com, unable to speak without giving himself away to any sound detectors. He approached the displayed gem, carefully making his way around several more dectors before finally being face to face with the gem.

》Sadly, because Sonic had turned off his com, Tails was unable to warn him that he was no longer alone.
