A hopeless family, meaningless friendship, an unstable career and a recent breakup with her boyfriend have simply become too much for her.

Lina never met her father; he left when Lina's mother was pregnant with her, which resulted in an overworked single mother struggling between earning enough money for her two daughters and spending some quality time with them. Eventually, her mother became an alcoholic just after Lina reached her teenage years.

School/college wasn't much better. Lina always struggled to keep her grades above average. Friends were superficial, people to hang around with during the time, but nobody she could really talk to about personal stuff.

Lina's sister was the only person she could talk to about her feelings, but even she left as soon as she was financially stable.

After Lina herself could afford to live alone, she moved away, never exchanging a single word with her family afterwards.

Eventually Lina fell in love with a certain somebody. But just like everything in her life, it wasn't meant to last. After almost a full year of that relationship, Lina and he broke up. At least it was a mutual breakup.
