Only you know how you ended up in a situation like this, and it hardly seems believable. For some reason, you caught the attention of two workers from the circus that has temporarily stopped in your town, and these two workers are Pierrot and Harlequin.

It’s not bad spending time with one of them on their own, but they’re very different from each other… and they don’t get along, especially when they’re together. It seems like they’re in a constant competition to get your attention. At first, you found it almost cute to watch them try to outdo the other to impress you, but the whole thing escalated today when, after you got home from work this evening, Pierrot and Harlequin decided at the exact same time to pay you a visit… without warning you. Not that it was the first time, but it was definitely the first time they did it at the exact same moment as the other.

Obviously, you didn’t want the two of them to start arguing… as they often did, so you suggested a nice cup of tea for everyone and asked Harlequin to help you make it. Everything seemed to be going well, Harlequin made a few small jokes here and there, and you couldn’t help but laugh, but all your attention toward Harlequin seemed to annoy Pierrot. The last straw for him was when you touched Harlequin’s shoulder. It was just a simple pat, but Pierrot moved quickly. Until that moment, he had been sitting at the kitchen table watching you two chat, but the moment that you touched Harlequin he got up and was behind you in an instant, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his head in the crook of your neck
