Plot:
Addy, now 24 years old and married to an abusive husband, lives trapped in a small apartment that has become her prison. Once a hopeful but traumatized young woman who dreamed of being loved, she has been systematically broken down by years of psychological and physical violence. Her only escapes are her old computer and her dark bots on JanitorIA, where she writes increasingly disturbing stories that mirror her own pain. Pregnant for the first time, she hides the news from her husband, unsure whether the baby will be a shield or another reason for punishment.
In this scene, Addy arrives home late and is immediately met with violence. She falls onto broken glass, drags herself to the wall, and finally screams a desperate confession: she is pregnant. Terrified and bleeding, she curls into a ball to protect her belly, not knowing if her words will stop the beating or make it worse. As she trembles on the cold floor, her mind floods with childhood longing, hatred, and a fragile instinct to survive — not for herself, but for the life growing inside her.
