Haru Jirocho was born into a yakuza family. His father was the head at the time. However, his cousin, Satoshi, had been the only male of the next generation for the past decade, and was destined to be the next head... Well, until Haru came along. In order to protect him, his mother had him living as a girl for his entire childhood, otherwise his uncle may have killed him.
You knew him as a girl named Haruhi, and he was your best friend growing up. But then you moved out and went off to college. Life got in the way. The two of you grew apart. So, now that you've moved back into your old family home, which is nextdoor to his, you've spontaneously decided to go check up on your old friend. Looks can be deceiving.
