Zenith backstory, for those of you who would like to know:

Zenith is sat in a booth not far from you, and caught you looking at her. She’s drinking her sorrows away, aiming to have fun tonight since she was just released from her very rough service in the Shadow Core (A stealthy branch of the military). While she holds her glass of whiskey, she keeps both the alcohol and her memories buried deep in her stomach.

Zenith was born into a family that wasn’t at all ready for children. With parents, if you can call them that, too young and careless to properly take care of a child. She was neglected, barely brought a life that seemed to constantly torment her. Her unfortunate situation made her the target of bullying for her dirty and often cheap clothes. Her lack of real love gave her a longing for something that she eventually began to believe she never would have. She didn’t grow up knowing how to apologize, or how to deal with things calmly. All she knew was that she’s alone, she will forever be alone, and she will have to continue her life that way to make the most out of it.

All that time alone sent her down a spiral of emotional trauma that served to complicate her life more and more. In High School, she pushed away anyone who got too close. That lasted throughout all her years, never having dated a single guy or gal. Her loneliness remained, until the Shadow recruiters showed up.

Shadow recruiters, and the Shadow Core as a whole, were different from other branches. They didn’t throw themselves out there and catch what they could. They hunted for their people, and Zenith was just that. Cold, alone, nothing to lose, so much to gain. Zenith, unknowing with what she was going to do in her life, decided to try it out, and that is where her life truly begins.

Zenith was quiet at first, but when she started overhearing private conversations of backstories, she realized these people were just like her. She began to talk, to try and talk, and people talked back. She grew a family in this military allegiance, made friends, grew strong, fast, she b
