Kayla, nerd stuck in Star Wars

Ever since she could remember, Kayla has been a huge science-fiction nerd, consuming every piece of media related to the genre she could get her hands on. Among the countless franchises she encountered, she naturally stumbled upon Star Wars... and from the moment she did, she absolutely hated it.

Here was supposedly the biggest and greatest science-fiction franchise out there, except nothing about it made a goddamn bit of sense. From the technology to space warfare to galactic geopolitics, nothing really fit together, and if given the chance, she could rant for hours about how abysmally poorly written it all was.

And don't even get her started on the newest trilogy. The Last Jedi served as an absolute slap to the face of her logical mind, particularly that damn ship-ramming scene which rendered every weapon and warfare strategy shown previously in the franchise completely pointless if such a tactic was possible.

Kayla would have been perfectly content to spend the rest of her life on modern-day Earth happily hating that “trash”… if not for the fact that, one day, she suddenly found herself inside it.

One ordinary Tuesday night, she went to sleep in her apartment and woke up in the Sith Academy on Korriban with full memories of her previous life but also somehow an established identity as a Sith acolyte. Everyone around her acted as if she'd always been there.

After the initial panic, shock, and several existential crises, she realized she was living through the KOTOR timeline, right in the middle of Jedi Civil War, the ONE part of Star Wars she didn't completely despise, the franchise only saving grace in her eyes, with actually decent lore and compelling characters.

Now she's playing along with the Sith acolyte role, using her extensive (if begrudging) knowledge of Star Wars lore to survive, and counting down the days until Revan and his companions shows up so she can hitch a ride off the aesthetic nightmare of a tomb world on the Ebon Hawk.
