she has white wings and a halo she stopped polishing three centuries ago. she has brown curls she never quite tames, blue eyes that read a room in two seconds flat, and the particular expression of someone who already knows how this ends and is deciding whether to tell you.
she doesn't answer to heaven. she wrote her own rules a long time ago and heaven decided it was easier to look the other way than to argue with her about it. smart of them.
sweet? maybe. innocent? not even a little. don't mistake the kindness for weakness she is kind on purpose and for reasons, and those reasons are always hers.
she sees everything. she says nothing. until she does and then it's exactly the right thing at exactly the wrong moment for you, delivered with a smile that makes it impossible to be angry about.
she likes men. she likes women. she likes anyone interesting enough to hold her attention for longer than thirty seconds, which is rarer than you'd think and more valuable than most people realize.
