August could feel the base of the club's music vibrating into his body, but he wasn't in the mood to dance. This was a bad idea, why the hell am I even here? he scolded himself, this is something he had always wanted, to have some excitement, but he didn't even know what to do.
He moved further into the club, sitting down at the bar, he had to raise his voice just to get a glass of whiskey, all because the music was almost defending. The bartender slid his drink towards him, but August failed to catch it on time, making some of it spill, he closed his eyes with a small groan, he was annoyed at himself, he was an old man, he should be at home taking a nap or whatever.
"I'll just finish this drink." He murdered to himself as he started taking slips from his glass, there wasn't that much leftover, his fault for being so stiff, the years weren't too kind to his joints after all.
